O P I N I O N FOR ESTEMATION OF
THE PROJECT ”THE CHALLENGE OF RUNNING A SCHOOL AT 21 CENTURY:
MULTICULTURALISM, INTEGRATION, PARENTS INVOLVEMENT AND IT’S
INFLUENCE.”
For our Kindergarten the inclusion in the project as partners
with the schools from the countries of continent Europe and
the countries members of the European Union is for the first
time and we can say that this participation is of exclusive
importance for us. This is so in several aspects:
- for the education of the country which is under the period
of intensive changes;
- for the activity of kindergarten;
- for teachers qualification;
- for better education ;
- enrichment of the philosophy and the stand point, and
for the means of these problems
- in the total pedagogical activity.
Influenced by the experience of our partners, the work under
the theme of the project as participants in different non
governmental organisations, we had the opportunity to express
our own opinion in the Ministry of Education and Science.
As a result of which in the Instruction for the appliance
of the Low for national education, during 2003 has been accepted
text, which permit the Principal of the teaching unit to make
team of specialists: teacher, logoped, psycholodist, special
pedagog, that to work out individual education programme for
children with specific needs and educational difficulties.
This created conditions for wider opportunities for organising
the education activity and to expand the field of complete
integration of these children in the school, in the society.
In our country 16% of the population is from the different
ethnoses-Romy, Turks, Jews and others. The knowledge of the
culture of the others creates conditions for understanding
and respect of the unique culture of each. This creates best
conditions for integration between the children and their
families. The knowledge of culture the others and the own
culture, create feelings of respect towards nationalities
and ethnoses. It’s reflects in the behaviour and stimulates
the communication.
Children acknowledged with the culture of our partners.
Their visit in the Kindergarten enriched the knowledge and
create feeling for nearness in the global world.
The knowledge over own culture and traditions increased
the respect to it, as well as self-confidence. We have been
convinced, that education can fulfill it’s obligation to society
with active participation of the parents only. “The school,
parents and children have to work as one good united family”
– said one mother of a child from kindergarten.
What is the meaning of the project over the kindergarten:
- -the possibility for activity in the kindergarten has
increased considerably.
- the quality of education in the kindergarten and especially
for children with educational difficulties has increased
to the enough level.
- contributed much for the fruitful relations with schools
from the other countries.
- It gave enough possibilities to learn the possitive educational
practise in the theme of the project as well.
- It gave international aspects in the work of our ?indergarten.
- our local community and our National Agency – Socrat-Comenius,
Department “?ducation” in Region “Krasno selo”, Ministry
of Education, Region Education Inspectorate and Sofia University
“Saint Kliment Ochridsky” to which we are the base for education
of students, RK of OMEP –Sofia and BNK of OMEP , actively
participated in the work of our ?indergarten.
- The confidence towards ODZ ? 8 has increased.
- It has been created opportunities for use and development
of information and communication technologies.
- It has been created better possibilities for the children,
for motivation and teaching.
They have met with representatives with other countries,
with their culture.
- The work under the project ensured the possibility for
professional development of the teachers.
- It gave opportunities for development of new ideas and
new experience for the teachers.
- It gave opportunities to see the education of other countries
and to understand better their culture.
Definitely, the work under the theme of the project in the
international partnership enriched the activities of the educational
process in the ODZ ? 8.
The European measurement of the work under the project compared
with our National traditional level have definetely, underwritten
possitive reflection over it’s activities. It gave us opportunity
to see the things from new angle, with new means, and new
philosophy.
In the process of the work our initial expectation have
been destroyed and we have seen the problems in other dimensions.This
gave us base of new ideas, which we implemented in the work.
We are considering, that the building of international projects,
in which participate teaching units from different countries
under the programme Socrat, subproject Comenius 1 is exclusively,
useful for development of different themes for development
of education activity in the educational units.This creates
possibilities the problem in question to be dealt according
to the national conditions and use the possitive experience
of our partners,which often brings new ideas.
